My research Interests
My main field of interest is law & economics. In the past three years I have worked on evaluation and adjudication procedures that produce type-I and type-II errors. These encompass, inter alia, criminal procedure, tax compliance and performance evaluation. I am doing both theoretical and experimental work on this topic. More generally, I am interested in the economic theory of deterrence, with its application to many fields of law, including regulation tax compliance, effort provision and finance. In the past, and especially for my PhD dissertation, I have worked on the theory of legal entitlements and on the theory of optional law.
